My first visit at Taylors Dental was pleasant and impressive. Dr. James P was very attentive and interested in my dental health; and Karen did a great job with x-rays and cleaning. The front desk girls were very friendly and courteous and helpful. The building is beautiful and new updated equipment is the best. Overall, I was very impressed. So glad I chose Taylors Dental after my dentist for 43 years had retired.

This is by far the best I've been to in my adult life. The staff is so helpful, kind, friendly, and always pleasant. Dr. James Plainstead DDS is the best dentist I've experienced. He's very skilled and always patient in answering all my questions to make sure I'm comfortable and understanding what's going on or what to expect. I'm thankful I found this practice!

Good people of the realm, lend me thine ears! I have lately paid a visit to Taylor’s Dental in Taylor, South Carolina, and I must declare, with great sincerity and only a modest amount of dramatic flourish, that I was treated with the kind of care typically reserved for nobility and delicate porcelain heirlooms. Now, let it be known, I arrived bearing the dreadful burden of dental anxiety, that familiar specter that whispers, “Surely this is how it ends…” Yet, to my astonishment, these fine professionals banished my worries with such grace that I found myself strangely… calm. Anxiety-free, as though I’d been wrapped in a warm quilt of reassurance and competence. The team at Taylor’s Dental operates like a well-rehearsed orchestra, each person knowing their role, moving with purpose, communicating clearly, and working together as though unity itself were stitched into their uniforms. Not once did I feel lost, rushed, or like a mere set of teeth in a chair. I felt seen. (Which is truly unfortunate, as I was hoping to disappear.) And let us speak of Dr. James, a gentleman of knowledge and remarkable patience, who explained everything to me with such clarity that even my overthinking mind had no room to spiral into madness. He walked me through the process step-by-step, answered every question, and did so without a hint of annoyance, as though I were not asking him questions I myself had already worried about for three days. Furthermore, I must give grand applause to their hygienists, whose cleanings are nothing short of exquisite. One does not simply “get a cleaning” at Taylor’s Dental. No, friends… one receives a thorough polishing worthy of high society. They are not only incredibly skilled, but so friendly that I nearly forgot I was there for something involving sharp tools and judgmental mirrors. For someone like me who has high anxiety about going to the dentist. The Taylor’s Dental is the best place to go! They’re nice, and welcoming, and they’re gentle cleaning your teeth too! They tell you step by step as to what they’re going to do. They ask if you’re ok, and if you need more water after they clean your teeth. The drs great as well! He listens, and he’s patient, and before he leaves he asks if you have any questions about anything! Great receptionist, great doctor, and nurses! Highly recommend this place to get your teeth done!
